I am a first-year MA in Film Studies student in the Cinematic Arts department and an instructor in the Rhetoric department. I am originally from Lubbock, Texas, where I secured an MA in English at Texas Tech University. I have worked in both consultant and administrative positions in writing centers for a combined five years, and this will be my fourth year teaching Rhetoric courses. I love working in the Writing Center because it enables me to provide hands-on writing support and to meet clients on a much more personalized basis than I traditionally can with individual students. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, playing video & board games, and going to concerts.
