I received an MFA in poetry from the Michener Center for Writers and am currently pursuing an MFA in fiction at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. I have taught for the Iowa First Nations Program, Iowa Young Writers' Studio, Austin Bat Cave, Austin Library Foundation, and currently teach as a graduate instructor in the English Department. My favorite part about working in the Writing Center is learning about students' wide-ranging interests and helping them become more confident writers. I grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I am descendant of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
