I studied creative writing at Iowa (undergrad and grad school) and I teach in the Rhetoric department. I’m tutoring in the Writing Center because I enjoy working with writing in an easygoing, conversational kind of way. I feel like I really thrive in the kinds of interactions that the Writing Center facilitates. I’m from rural southern Iowa; I read and write a bit about industrial agriculture and rural landscapes. I like dogs, baseball, running, rockhounding, and Nuun hydration tabs.
